Pennsylvania Legalize Medical Marijuana

It seems likely that Pennsylvania will become the next state to legalize a comprehensive medical marijuana program. After a stressful few days of debating additional amendments, the House of Representatives voted 149 to 43 in favor of Senate Bill 3 on Wednesday. The bill is in favor of legalizing a medical marijuana program for patients who suffer from around 17 different qualified conditions. The bill has undergone many changes since the original proposal. It must now go before the Senate in the hopes that the House and the body will agree on the changes and the program can begin to take immediate effect.
