Construction workers use excavator to rescue man from burning building

Dramatic footage of workmen using their excavator as a make-shift fire and rescue vehicle to save a man from a burning house in New York, USA.
The video, filmed in Williams St, Gouverneur on October 14, shows the digger being used as a ladder so the man can climb down from the second floor.
According to local reports, the construction crew were working on a nearby bridge and sprang into action as soon as reports of the blaze reached them.
Another man reportedly jumped out of a second floor window, with the fire brigade saying all people in the house were safely accounted for.
