Condoleezza Rice, a Secretary of State during the George W. Bush administration, responded on Tuesday to news that Donald Trump allegedly called her a "b***h" during her tenure.
Deadspin recently resurrected the 2006 comment, which was, according to a New York Daily News article, made during a speech at New York’s Javitz Center.
Trump allegedly told the crowd, “Condoleezza Rice, she’s a lovely woman, but I think she’s a b***h. She goes around to other countries and other nations, negotiates with their leaders, comes back and nothing ever happens.”
Rice was contacted by CNN for a comment, which she gave via email.
Her reply simply stated, “Exactly. Can’t wait until November 9!”
It remains unclear if she meant she’s looking forward to the whole election being over or if she’s eagerly anticipating a Trump loss - or, perhaps, something else entirely.
Reportedly, Trump campaign considered Rice when selecting a running mate.
