Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe enters the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics closing ceremony as Mario through a Super Mario Brothers warp pipe dressed as the famous Nintendo character on Sunday (August 21) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The city of Tokyo will host the 2020 Summer Olympics, and it is tradition to pass the torch to the new city at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. The country of Japan did a whole segment during the broadcast!
