Over ten thousand supporters of Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy crammed in to Myo Oo pagoda ground in Rangoon's east on Sunday.
The thronging crowd where there to see their hero, who told them that if elected, the NLD would rule for all.
No police presence was visible at the massive gathering, where a party atmosphere reflected a wide held belief that the NLD is set for a landslide victory when Burma goes to the polls in one week's time.
