Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof assaulted by inmate in shower

Dylann Roof, who slaughtered nine worshippers in South Carolina last year, was beaten up Thursday morning in jail. According to officials, Roof was getting ready for his morning shower when he was assaulted by another inmate inside Charleston County Detention Center. Inmate Dwayne Stafford, 25, “punched (Roof) a number of times and assaulted him quickly” before a jail guard pulled the two apart, Sheriff Al Cannon said.
