Approximately 271 Russian sportsmen and women are cleared to compete at the Rio Olympics the IOC announced Thursday. Russian boxers, judokas and shooters were among those given last-minute approval by the International Olympic Committee, following a doping scandal which has tarnished Russia's reputation as a sporting superpower. Russian Olympic Committee head Alexander Zhukov said his team will be the cleanest at Rio due to sufficient testing at international events.
