Timelapse Shows Hurricane Earl Edge Towards Cancun

Storm clouds rolled into Cancun, Mexico, on Wednesday, August 3, as Hurricane Earl edged towards the east coast of Mexico and Belize. The US National Hurricane Center in Miami said the storm had generated sustained winds topping 70 mph on Wednesday. The hurricane is expected to make landfall in Belize, where around 400 people were evacuated. This timelapse video shows the stormy weather passing over in Cancun on Wednesday.The storm swept through Dominican Republic on Sunday, killing at least six people and injuring 12 others when it toppled power lines on top a bus near Nagua in the northeastern part of the country, according to reports.
