Police officer proposes at London Pride parade

An unidentified police officer marching in the London Pride parade on June 25 surprised his partner by proposing marriage.
Jonathan Sammons was part of the crowd watching the parade procession when his partner stopped and kneeled to propose.
Sammons laughed and said 'yes' before the couple embraced while onlookers cheered in celebration. The video of the proposal has gone viral on social media.
More than 100 police officers took part in the capital's 43rd Pride parade, an annual celebration of LGBT rights.
