Protests mark the beginning of San Fermin festival

A blood filled protest marked the start of the San Fermin festival. The week-long festival is best known for the daily running of the bulls, where mostly tourists are chased by a herd of stampeding bulls through the streets of Pamplona in Spain. This year's San Fermin festival runs through July 14.
