Shame on you! China uses public billboards to expose runaway debtors

As China's economy is slowing down, it has found another way to recover their debts. Fighting a growing tide of debt, Chinese courts have ramped up their use of shaming tactics, plastering names and pictures of debtors across electronic advertising boards. This billboard campaign is part of a drive to put up the details of the debtors’ in newspapers, on television and on the Internet.
