Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), July 28: Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in the Assi Ganga valley of Uttarkashi forcing villagers to resort to life-threatening means to cross rivers. An 800-meter long trench formed due to cloud burst in Kafla village damaged the major road connecting the valley.
