Transgender woman caught taking photos of woman changing at Target

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO — A self-identifying transgendered woman was arrested at a Target in Idaho on July 11 after being caught taking photos of another woman in the dressing room.
Sean Smith, 43, who goes by the name Shauna Smith, was arrested at a Target in Ammon, Idaho.
Police were called to the Target after a woman said she saw a hand reach over one of the walls separating two fitting rooms. The woman, an 18-year-old, was trying on swimsuits when she saw someone reach over and take photos or video with a cell phone.
After reviewing surveillance footage and talking to witnesses, police arrested Smith for one felony count of voyeurism. Smith was booked into Bonneville County Jail as a male under her legal name, Sean Patrick Smith.
Target announced in April that it would allow customers to use restrooms and fitting rooms based on the gender of which they identify.
