NFL, NFLPA announce policy to enforce concussion protocol

The NFL and NFL Players Association announced new punishments for teams if they’re caught ducking the league’s concussion protocol.
If a team’s medical staff misses a concussion, they’ll have to do remedial education and the team could be fined up to $150,000.
A second infraction results in a minimum fine of $100,000.
A club that intentionally avoids the concussion protocol for competitive reasons could lose draft picks.
