Trump criticizes Black Lives Matter for its ‘horrible’ and ‘divisive’ rhetoric

Donald Trump believes the Black Lives Matter movement has a responsibility to separate itself from the “horrible” rhetoric of its most hateful supporters.
The presidential candidate told the Associated Press he heard some Black Lives Matter activists say “horrible, horrible things about police and about others.”
The tycoon who proposed banning all Muslims from entering the U.S. also expressed concern with the movement’s name, stating, “A lot of people feel that it is inherently racist...and it’s a very divisive term.
Because all lives matter.
It’s a very, very divisive term.”
Speaking at a rally in Virginia Monday, Trump called for an immediate end to “hostility against our police,” before referring to the “tragic deaths” of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.”
Trump suggested that some police could use more “training,” and African-Americans need to regain their “spirit.”
