ISTANBUL — Some 20 suspected Islamists roughed up customers and staff for drinking alcohol and listening to music during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

At least one person was injured after being hit over the head with a beer bottle.

The store Velvet IndieGround in the central Beyoglu district was livestreaming Radiohead’s new album, “A Moon Shaped Pool,” on Friday night.

Live stream footage captured the moment the mob entered the store, shouting: “close this place down” and “who the f**k is running this place?”

A man wearing a white polo shirt then grabs one of the men, yelling: “Come here now, you come here now.”

After pulling the the man outside, he comes back in the store and yells at the men to get outside.

He then shows everyone how tough he is by slapping a beer off the table. He then pushes another person from the store out into the street.

The angry man then throws a chair that happened to be in front of the shop.

The guy in the white polo can be heard and seen slapping a lot of people. The sound of bottles being broken can be heard as well.

Some of the guys in the store finally shut the store down while the mob outside continues to get overly upset.

Radiohead condemned the attack in a statement published by Pitchfork: “Our hearts go out to those attacked tonight at Velvet IndieGround in Istanbul. We hope that someday we will be able to look back on such acts of violent intolerance as things of the ancient past. For now, we can only offer our fans in Istanbul our love and support.”
