Very Hot Drinks Can Cause Cancer, Study States

Researchers at the World Health Organization say that coffee may have anti-cancer effects. However, the agency also said that very hot drinks, including coffee, that are heated beyond 150 degrees Fahrenheit could be carcinogenic. This news may be alarming to those who often drink green tea for its known antioxidants and anti-cancer benefits. Researchers found that those drinking extremely hot beverages had an increased risk for esophageal cancer.
