Gord Downie Of "Tragically Hip" Rock Band Has Terminal Cancer

Sad news for the music industry. ROck band The Tragically Hip has announced that lead singer Gord Downie has been has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The tragic announcement came Tuesday morning via the band's website and Facebook page. The Canadian Rockers posted a message to their site saying Downie had actually been diagnosed back in December. The band still plans to tour this summer because, as they say, "feels like the right thing to do now, for Gord, and for all of us."
