'Thousands' of dead crabs wash up on south Texas beach

A bizarre video has emerged of "thousands" of crab shells washed up on a beach on Padre Island, TX, USA.
The footage, shot on Sunday, shows piles of dead crabs of various sizes stacked up on the shore.
"Went down to North Padre and noticed the beach smelled of death in the air," the filmer wrote online.
"Next morning I noticed all the dead crab everywhere - There were also dying sea slugs".
