Teacher aborted love child after months-long affair with 13-year-old

HOUSTON — Police are currently trying to track down 24-year-old middle school teacher Alexandria Vera on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Vera and a 13-year-old student allegedly engaged in a months-long sexual relationship beginning in the summer of 2015.
It all started in summer school, when the boy asked Vera if they could connect on Instagram. After initially refusing, in September she succumbed to his charms, claiming the two fell madly in love.
Their torrid love affair included sexual encounters almost every day, and escalated when the naughty teacher met the boy’s parents at a school open house function, only to be introduced as his girlfriend soon after.
Reports indicate the boy’s parents actually accepted the relationship, inviting Vera over for family events, and letting him sleep over at her house. She’d even drive him back home some days so he could catch the school bus in the morning.
But in January, things got complicated when Vera found herself pregnant with the boy’s child. In February, after being questioned by Houston’s Child Protective Services, she jettisoned the love child and has since been terminated from her teaching position at Stovall Middle School.
Vera reportedly has a 4-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
