Green Tribunal Rejects Sri Sri's Plea

In a big blow to spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the National Green Tribunal rejected the Art of Living's plea. His organization wanted that the 4.75 crores that they were supposed to pay for a festival organised in March this year, be treated as a bank guarantee. But that has been turned down by the NGT- which also slammed the Art of Living for not showing bonafide intent to deliver on its commitment to pay the fine. Here's a detailed report.
