Motorway closed due to heavy smog in China

Footage has emerged from China of a motorway being shut down due to very heavy smog.
The video, filmed in Huaian, Jiangsu Province last Sunday, shows a large number of cars stopped on the road in a thick cloud of pollution.
The smog resulted in the closure of several motorways in the area, stranding over 400 vehicles.
Traffic only started to resume on the motorway on following morning.
