This is why you shouldn't try to copy what happens in a viral video

Shocking footage has emerged from China of a girl appearing to remove a chunk of her hair after trying to copy a viral video from last week which saw a man eat a corn on the cob using a power drill.

The video, filmed in Beijing on Saturday, shows the girl's hair becoming caught up in the drill bit when she tries to eat the corn. She ends up losing a large chunk on the front of her head.

Later in the footage, we also see the bald patch being treated by a doctor in a nearby hospital.
