The family of a woman who was fatally struck by lightning on a tarmac last June is suing the entities it deems responsible, reports WIS. 
Cited in the filing are American Airlines, US Airways, and Columbia Metropolitan Airport. 
According to the lawsuit, the victim, 52-year-old Sonya Dockett of Connecticut, was on a flight that had been rerouted from Charlotte, North Carolina to Columbia, South Carolina due to intense storm activity.
