MIDLOTHIAN, TEXAS — A fitness instructor was found murdered inside a church in Texas in the early hours of Monday.

The body of Terri “Missy” Bevers, 45, was found by a fitness class member at the Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Fox 4 News reported.

Authorities are searching for a masked suspect wearing what appears to be police SWAT gear, who was filmed by surveillance cameras wandering around the church prior to the killing.

The suspect was first seen on motion-activated cameras at about 3:50 a.m.

Bevers was first seen on church cameras about 30 minutes later, arriving to take an early morning fitness class.

Midlothian police said they found evidence of forced entry to the building, indicating a possible burglary, according to a press release.

Police said the suspect used force to enter several rooms but it was too early to determine if anything was missing.

Officers were called at around 5 a.m. after a fitness class member found Bevers’ body. They searched the building but found nobody else inside.

Family members said Bevers was a dedicated mother of three who loved her husband very much, NBC affiliate KXAS reported.

Texas-based Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer, according to the Dallas Morning News.
