Jewellers End Month Long Strike

43 days after the Budget announcement, the vast majority of Jewellers association finally called off the strike over the 1% excise levy on gold and jewellery.
The strike has been said to have had an immense impact both on jewellers and artisans, but it now appears that the jewellers and the Govt have reached an understanding.
