After 3 weeks, X Factor India is all set to rock everyone with the Top 11. In the absence of Sonu Nigam, Pritam comes as a guest judge mentor for Sonu's team. The first group to rock the stage with their modified folk performance on 'Bawo Re' and garner compliments from judges is Deewana Group. The next one to perform is the little bully of Sonu's team, Seema Jha who sets the stage on fire with her rocking performance on 'Ae Bacchu'.
Only 10 weeks away from the finals, in this episode, the contestants are aiming to perform on popular item numbers. The first one to hit the stage in a red tuxedo from Shreya's team is Geet Sagar. Sanjay Leela Bhansali tells him that he performed like a broadway artist. He once again shows his RJ skills in the vote appeal. Then come Last Minute, who come dressed as Hawaian Dancers and perform exotically on 'Na Mangu Heera Moti'.
Sahiti makes a dramatic entry to the stage with her powerful performance on 'Aazma Luck'. She gets appreciated for her versatility and gets a rose from Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A melodious introduction from Shreya Ghoshal for Kartar Singh makes him perform youthfully on 'Bar Bar Dekho'. Sanjay Leela Bhansali regrets of not having another rose to give to Kartar.
Nirmitee Group comes up with yet another innovative performance of their own version of 'Chalat Musafir'. They get the crowd going with their interesting style of presentation of songs. Last week they were voted on of the bottom two. They also worshipped for winning the competition. They get surprises to see their parents coming to X Factor for them. After Nirmitee, Pritam calls Shovon Ganguly to perform. Shovon gives his own touch to 'Tum Ho To'. Though he is appreciated for his voice and music sensibility, judges expect more from him. Amit Jhadav enlightens the stage with a Punjabi number, Pritam's 'Aahun Aahun'. What others can't do, he does it easily. Sanjay Leela Bhansali tells Shreya that she is blessed to have a performer like Amit in her team. Shreya couldn't stop herself from hugging him and praising him. Next one to come is Piyush Kapoor, who performs like a rockstar on 'Meter Down'. Last week he was not much appreciated and this week, he comes back with a bang and gets good comments. The last but not the least is Sajda Sister. They come with a charming stage performance on 'Nimbuda'. The performance was like treat on Shivranjini's birthday. Aditya Narayan is teased by Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali when they refer him as a marriage prospect for Shivranjini. At the end of the episode Sahiti was selected as the Performer of the Day.

Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor. Of this lot, the top 12 will be selected to participate in the Galas and prove their mettle to the entire nation

As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
