A funny video has emerged from the US of a husband reacting in a particularly understated way when his wife reveals she is pregnant.

The footage, filmed in Washington DC on March 9, shows the husband entering the house and being surprised with baby clothes laid out on the sofa and his wife telling him she is with child.

Despite his understated reaction, there's no doubt the man is happy though.

He later apologises to his future son or daughter for his "lack of enthusiasm" saying: "I'm in shock, it's going to take me a while for me to process the information, your father process things slowly."
