84-year-old man rents outer wall of skyscraper hotel to tell his wife he loves her

Heartwarming footage has emerged from China of a skyscraper hotel, the outside of which was rented by an 84-year-old man so he could write an "I love you" message for his wife on it.

The video, filmed in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province last Sunday, shows lights on the hotel's outer wall reading “I love you”. Later in the video, he can be seen giving her a bunch of flowers while she sits in a wheelchair.

According to local news, the Year of the Monkey is the elderly couple's birth year, so the man came up with this idea to express love for his wife. They've been married 67 years.
