A recently published study in Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, may prove to be just the motivation needed. A team of researchers, led by Dr. Nicole Spartano from the Boston University School of Medicine, has made an association between low fitness levels during middle age and accelerated brain shrinkage later in life.
