Bizarre footage has emerged of the moment a driver coming off the M6 motorway near Wigan, UK found a driver coming down the exit slip road towards him - into oncoming traffic.

The video, captured on a dashcam by Trevor Southworth late last month, shows him maneuvering to stop the woman from driving further towards the wrong side of the motorway.

She can then be seen trying to turn her car around, crashing it against barriers on the side of the road, before driving off onto a roundabout.
