Powerful footage has emerged of a major dust storm in South Australia.

The video, filmed on Tuesday in Hamley Bridge, shows the dust storm reducing visibility to zero on the roads.

The filmer later wrote online: "South Australia's recent Pinery bush fires have left the small town of Hamley Bridge a dust bowl.

"With so much vegetation lost, valuable top soil is causing daily dust storms"

"This video captures a driver heading into Hamley Bridge enduring moments of zero visibility tying to get through the red dust," he continued.
