A列車で行こう3Dでは、在来線の駅も併設できるので、従来路線の高架化を実施し、新幹線との連絡を可能にしました。
この駅は空港の前に設置され、在来線に乗り換えることで空港へも行くことができます。
新幹線開業により、戸分町は空港と新幹線の両方が存在する交通の要衝となり、戸分駅は新幹線開業前と比べて1日あたり20万人も利用客が増えました。（戸分空港駅は利用客数1日32万人）
