British gun smuggler gets jailed after taking this steamy selfie with an AK-47

LONDON — A British woman who took a steamy selfie with an AK-47 was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Friday for her role in a gun smuggling gang that had allegedly obtained dozens of weapons in six short months, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Following direction from her boyfriend, Ishmael Brown, who managed operations from a prison cell using an unauthorized mobile phone, Caitlin Adams purchased deactivated weapons from antique dealers and military shops.
The 25-year-old next handed over the guns to Bart Pawlowski, a former Polish soldier, who reactivated them in his workshop. The mother of one then apparently personally sold the firearms to criminal elements.
"The result was to make available lethal weapons to those who might be prepared to use them," said Judge Graham Arran, who sentenced the group, according to a report by the Sun.
Police found Adams posing seductively with an AK-47 in a selfie they obtained.
"The sentencing of Caitlin Adams should serve as a warning to others of the grave consequences of storing and transporting guns for others," said Detective Constable Claire Gentles of London Metropolitan Police's Trident and Area Crime Command, according to the Sun.
Authorities have so far only managed to recover eight of the more than forty guns Adams and her gang reactivated.
