Karisma Kapoor - Biography

Karisma Kapoor was born on 25th June 1974 at Mumbai. Her nickname is Lolo. She is an Indian actress/model and daughter of actor Randhir Kapoor and actress Babita, granddaughter of the legendary actor Raj Kapoor and niece of actor Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. She is the sister of the famous actress Kareena Kapoor.

Karisma Kapoor married Sanjay Kapoor, a business man from Delhi in 2003, and has two children daughter Samira and son Kiaan. Their marriage hit a rough patch and they split but are together now.

Karisma Kapoor has performed in live shows in UK, USA, Canada and many other countries with many super stars of the industry. She has also modeled for baby care products.

Karisma Kapoor made her debut in the year 1991, in a movie Prem Qaidi and went on working in hits and flops and some of her performances in films like Fiza, Zubeda, Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, Andaz Apna Apna, were well appreciated by the masses and the classes.

Karisma Kapoor won the filmfare critics award for best actress for Zubeida and best actress award by filmfare for the film Fiza.
