R. Madhavan, born on 1st June 1970, at Jamshedpur, is an Indian actor, producer, television artist, model, television host and has acted in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, English films.
R. Madhavan is married to Sarita Birje and has a son Vedant. He has cultivated a romantic image and has a pan India appeal with millions of women fans and he comes across as a charming and decent actor on the screen. He started his acting career by acting in television serials like Banegi Apni Baat on Zee TV in the year 1996, and became a model endorsing many products and doing commercials and small roles.
