Arjun Kapoor, born on 26th June 1985, in Mumbai is an Indian actor and co producer.
Arjun Kapoor is the son of producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor and has a sister Anshula. He is grandson of producer Surinder Kapoor, nephew of actor Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. His cousins are Rhea Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor and his step mother is Sridevi and he has two step sisters Jhanvi and Khushi.
Before starting his acting career, Arjun Kapoor was co producer for block buster movies- No Entry, Wanted and Milenge Milenge.
He was also assistant director for movies Shakti- The Power, Kal Ho Na Ho, and Salam E Ishq.
Arjun Kapoor is very close to Salman Khan and considers him as his friend, philosopher, guide and mentor and it was Salman who motivated him to tone his body as he weighed 140 kilos a few years back.
Arjun signed a 3- films contract with Aditya Kapoor for Yash Raj Films.
He made his debut with Ishaqzaade in 2012, with new comer Parineeta Chopra and the movie was a big hit all over. The women went crazy over Arjun’s rugged, rustic, angry young man looks. He can emote well in front of the camera and dances well. His body language shows loads of attitude and a swagger makes him the darling of the masses. The film was well appreciated by the classes and masses and by the critics.
