Jock Mahoney, THE RANGE RIDER, had his hands full in the "Saga of Silver Town," a 1952 entry in the popular western television series. That particular episode has as a cast of supporting players that would star, with varying prominence, in other popular video series.
Clayton Moore, on hiatus from THE LONE RANGER, would become forever associated with the "Masked Rider of the Plains" and appear in 169 half-hour television programs, two feature films and innumerable personal appearances. Judd Holdren, having already played "Captain Video" in the only serial based on a television show, would find limited success behind the mask of COMMANDO CODY, SKY MARSHAL OF THE UNIVERSE. Prolific character actor Harry Lauter would star as "Clay Morgan" with Willard Parker in TALES OF THE TEXAS RANGERS.
