A woman Nationalist Congress Party worker allegedly slapped a senior municipal official from Ulhasnagar for "not promoting her brother-in- law". The act has been caught on cameras installed at the municipal office.
The woman, Priya Gupta, has been booked. On her part, she alleged that assistant municipal commissioner Yuvraj Badane wanted a bribe to promote Sunil Gupta. She claimed that Badane misbehaved with her as she refused to pay the bribe.
