Peyton Manning denies AJ report claiming he took HGH to recover from busted neck

DENVER — An Al Jazeera documentary released over the weekend claims NFL quarterback Peyton Manning was supplied with human growth hormone by an Indianapolis anti-aging clinic in 2011 when he was still with the Indianapolis Colts and recovering from neck surgery.
In their report, "The Dark Side," Al Jazeera sent British hurdler Liam Collins undercover in an attempt to expose the widespread use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) in global sports.
According to the Huffington Post, as a cover story, Collins tells medical professionals tied to the PED trade that he is hoping for one last run at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Manning is just one of the many famous athletes that the report names.
Along the way, Collins meets pharmacist Charlie Sly, who says he worked at the Guyer Institute in 2011, and said he was part of a team that helped Peyton recover from his 2011 surgery.
Sly alleged the clinic mailed growth hormone and other drugs to Manning's wife, Ashley, to keep Manning's name clean. Sly also said Manning and his wife came to the clinic after hours for IV treatments.
The NFL banned HGH in 2011, but didn't start testing for it until 2014.
Manning has come out and said he's 'furious' and 'disgusted' at the AJ report and denies having ever used HGH, while Sly has tried to backtrack and recant his statements.
