France: Police Detain Activists at COP21 Protest

French police detained dozens of activists defying a government ban on protests by entering a corporate activity held in conjunction with the COP21 Climate Change summit. The demonstrators were protesting the role of transnational corporations. Two teleSUR journalists were detained, beaten, and subsequently released without any further explanations.
