Xerfi Global has recently published a study on Airlines. The aviation industry continues its recovery amid robust growth of transport volumes both in the passenger and cargo segments. Industry revenues reached a record €548bn in 2014, representing 9.0% average annual growth since 2009. Global aviation industry profitability has also seen strong growth over the last two years, increasing from 2.6% in 2012 to 4.6% in 2014 and this growth is expected to continue in 2015.
