Ne 23 qershor 3.271.885 zgjedhës jane thirrur te votojnë per te zgjedhur parlamentin e ri dhe qeverinë qe do t'i drejtoje ne 4 vitet e ardhshme. Jane 5508 qendra votimi te cilat do te qëndrojnë te hapura per qytetaret nga ora 7:00 e mëngjesit deri ne orën 19:00 te pasdites; ndërkohë qe votat do te numërohen ne 89 komisione zonale te administrimit zgjedhor. Ne keto zgjedhje garojnë 2 koalicione Aleanca per Punesim, Mireqenie dhe Integrim me 25 parti, Aleanca per Shqiperine Europiane me 37 parti; Aleanca Kuq E Zi si subjekt me vete dhe Fryma e Re Demokratike. Fleta e votimit ka 66 subjekte politike, me specifiken qarkun e Vlorës ku numri shkon ne 67 pasi kandidon si i pavarur Arben Malaj dhe qarkun e Fierit ku kandidon i Pavarur, Dritan Prifti. Keto zgjedhje mund te cilësohen edhe si procesi me i vëzhguar i viteve te fundit pasi deri me tani pranë KQZ jane akredituar 8,153 nga te cilet 7,589 jane vezhgues lokale dhe 564 jane vëzhgues ndërkombëtare. Bie ne sy fakti qe pothuaj te gjithë ambasadoret e akredituar ne Tirane jane regjistruar si vëzhgues, duke filluar nga ambasadori amerikan Aleksandër Arvizu, ambasadori i Bashkimit Europian Etore Sequi, ambasadori anglez.
