Rreth 400 mije euro do t'i kushtoje shtetit shqiptar monumenti kryesor i 100-vjetorit te Pavarësisë. Shifra behet publike disa muaj pas miratimit te projektit fitues te dy arkitekteve, e qe tashme mësohet se ky monument do te realizohet jashtë vendit. Rubens Shima, drejtor i Galerisë Kombëtare te Arteve zbulon se vepra e arkitektit shqiptar e atij gjerman do te fabrikohet ne Austri dhe do te vije vetëm për tu montuar ne vendin e përcaktuar, ne "Parkun Rinia" ne krah te Ministrisë se Mbrojtjes. Kjo zgjedhje është bere sipas Shimes për shkak se ne vend mungojnë teknologjitë moderne, çka nevojiten për krijimin e monumentit te 100-vjetorit. Por, edhe pse gati dy muaj larg ditës se 100-vjetorit, e ne dukje vone, Shima shprehet se fabrikimi i monumentit nga firma austriake do te behet ne kohe. Vepra është 6.4 metër e larte dhe 5.5 metër e gjere. Vetëm fabrikimi i saj ne Austri do te kushtoje 353 mije euro.
