Inside The Americas - Chefs in Training in La Paz

The high-end Gustu Restaurant in La Paz, Bolivia doubles as a training school for chefs in training. The young, aspiring chefs come from all over Bolivia, but particularly from impoverished villages. In 2012, world renowned Danish chef Claus Myer founded Melting Pot Bolivia to train the young chefs and promote a revolution in the country's traditional yet under-appreciated cuisine. It is expected that 3,000 chefs will be trained and that the restaurant -ranked 15th in Latin America- will eventually be turned over to its staff. teleSUR
