Mexico: Ayotzinapa Students March Against Repression

Following Wednesday's police attack on Ayotzinapa Teacher Training College students and the detention and subsequent release of 13 protesters, a demonstration was held Friday in Chilpancingo, the capital of the southwestern Mexican state of Guerrero. Ayotzinapa students and their supporters protested the police attack and commemorated the 2007 repression against rural teacher training college students in six states after demonstrators stormed the state capitol building in Chilpancingo. teleSUR
