Colombia: FARC Proposes Fund to Tackle Social Issues

In the 43rd round of talks underway in Havana, the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) are discussing long-term solutions that will ensure the viability of a peace agreement. With this in mind, FARC leaders are proposing a fund equivalent to not less than 4% of the country's GDP to resolve social issues addressed in the peace plan that in the past have fueled the country's armed conflict. teleSUR
