KUALA LUMPUR: The Negeri Sembilan government has been "illegally" excising huge pieces of forest reserve land to enable logging and development that has benefited cronies and Barisan Nasional leaders for many years, PKR alleged today.

In his latest series of exposé, party strategy director Rafizi Ramli said that the focus is on Negeri Sembilan as it was the "worst" state in Peninsular Malaysia for excising 8,616 hectares of forest reserves between 2005 and 2007.
