25,600 Toyota cars to be repaired in Israel

A week after Toyota announced a huge recall of around 6.5 million cars, the company's Israeli importer, Union Motors, has announced which vehicles in Israel will require repairs.
The list includes the Auris, RAV4, Corolla, Yaris, and Camry models of 2005-2010, which amounts to about 25,600 cars in total.
The recall is a preventative measure, and there is no knowledge of accidents of harm caused by the possible fault so far.
Israeli regulations say that the repair must be done no later than six months after owners are informed of the recall.
Unrepaired vehicles will not have their licenses renewed and will not be allowed to be transferred to new owners.
