A driver in China smashed her car into a restaurant when she tried to back into a parking lot.

In the bizarre footage, partly captured on a security camera in Hubei Province on Tuesday, the white car can be seen rushing into the building.

According to news reports, the driver went to the restaurant in the morning to confirm a booking but she accidentally crashed into the place where she was meant to be having lunch.

Fortunately the incident caused no injuries.
